This 1978 classic Early American Cradle phone has a simulated maple base with a black and brass French style handset. The top is trimmed in gold-tone metal, and features an American Eagle insignia above the rotary dial. The housing was sold to customers, and then the telephone company installed the interior parts. Phones marked with the Design Line series have Western Electric parts inside. Those with Deco Tel on them have either Automatic Electric or Stromberg Carlson parts inside.
